Bavaria
Mirror-finished mahogany plaques surround the Bavaria series silent quartz clock and matching barometer . Both instruments have large dials for easy reading and polished brass hinged bezels. The barometer has a cutaway dial to show off its polished movement, and a crescent blue-spirit thermometer at the bottom gives inside temperature. Chelsea
The Chelsea Clock Company's popular Shipstrike series features precision works in solid forged and polished brass cases with 4 1/2" dia. dials. The Shipstrike key-wind clock with screw bezel (#40006) produces a ship's bell strike every hour and half-hour. (Also available: key-wind clock with more convenient hinged bezel, #40013.)
The matching Shipstrike barometer (#40017) shows pressure in inches, millibars, and millimeters on an open-faced dial. Choose the optional Traditional Mahogany Base (#23368), shown, for mantel or shelf locations. 5 3/4" dia. flange, 4 1/2" dia. dial, 3 1/2"D. Made in the USA by the foremost American clockmaker.

Precision Barometer
The remarkable Precision Barometer (#P111) is
rated at +/-1.0 millibar (or 0.03 inches) over its
entire measuring scale. This accuracy is unheard-of
for an instrument in this price range. The 6" dia.
lacquered brass case houses a precision
temperature-compensated movement, and the
special knife-edge pointer minimizes parallax error
when taking readings. Our most serious barometer

Weathermaster
We offer the Weathermaster Barometer (#476)
because it performs as well as some costing much
more. It has a 5" dia. dial, clearly marked scales, and
a ring at the top for wall hanging. A good choice for

Marine Barometer
Our Marine Barometer (#M111) is rugged enough
for use afloat, but just as successful a choice for the
home. It has a traditional 6" dia. brass case, very
good accuracy, durable construction, and handsome
appearance - all at a modest price. The 5 1/8" open
dial reveals a polished movement inside. Range:
28.00-31.00 in. and 948-1050 mb. (Note: a matching
quartz clock and marine angle-of-heel indicator are

Indoor Station
Many barometer/thermometer/hygrometer
combinations you find at department stores are
designed to be decorative, with little regard for
functional accuracy.
The Indoor Station (#382) is compact (14 1/2" x
5") and features brass-cased flush-mounted
indicators with 3" dia. dials. The wood panel is solid
walnut with a satin finish. The instruments are
refreshingly sensitive and accurate, given their
modest dimensions. Ranges: 0-100% RH; 28.00 to
32.00 in.; and -10 degrees to 130 degrees Farenheit.
This station is proof you can have handsome looks

Porthole Clock
Another offering from Wempe, the Porthole series
silent quartz clock (#31702) and barometer (#51201)
have solid brass cases, superbly polished finishes
and slim profiles for wall or bulkhead mounting.
Hinged bezels, beveled glass lenses, and clear 4" dia.
dials. To display the pair, choose the 9" x 15 1/4"
satin finish mahogany panel (#CM2); for a single
instrument, the gloss-finish mahogany mantel base
(#WMB) is available, as shown. 5 1/2" dia. flange,
4" dia. dial, 1 3/4"D. Highest quality in a compact

Lansdowne
Very reasonably priced, the Lansdowne Barometer
(#432) features a thermometer, 5" dia. barometer,
and hygrometer on a 21"H mahogany-finish
banjo-style panel with brass trim. Ranges: 0 degrees
-100 degrees Farenheit; 27.5 to 31.5 in.; 0-100%. Price: $125.00
Embassy
The Embassy is a handsome traditional banjo
barometer from England with a solid mahogany
panel and a silk-smooth finish. Barometer and
thermometer dials are silver, with polished brass
hardware, and there is a real rosette wood inlay at
the bottom. Scales in both inches and millibars.
Available in two sizes: the Embassy 27 is 27"H x
8"W; ($425.00) the Embassy 36 is 36"H x 10 1/2"W. ($510.00)
The Vantage Pro is new, smart, comprehensive, available with cables or wireless, and all at a surprisingly low price. The tickertape forecast and graphing capability are just two of the features that make the Vantage Pro stand out. Four models are available.
Choose the cabled model for the greatest reliability and for use in metal, concrete or brick building. 100' cables, with 40' extra for the detachable wind sensors, allow great flexibility in locating sensors.
The wireless model allows easier set-up and lets you locate the sensor suite far away from the house, if you want. The extreme range is 800', but 150' to 500' is more realistic. A solar panel keeps the sensor suite charged even in periods of little sunshine.
