Ithaca Calendar Clock.

Here are the before and after pictures of an antique calendar clock made by the Ithaca Clock Company. The clock was purchased from someone who came into the store looking to dispose of it. I originally bought it just to salvage the parts from it, but a closer look, and a sudden burst of ambition, I decided to bring it back to life. Just removing years of basement dirt and water damage revealed a nice clock of walnut. A few wooden pieces needed to be replaced, but having originals to use as templates, they came out identical. The case was refinished and hand rubbed out and the end result was a beautiful almost original clock. This clock has a perpetual calendar movement in in that will correct for different length months and also for leap years.
