Medford Clock & Barometer

Seth Thomas No.1

Question:

I just acquired this Seth Thomas regulator No.1.  The 2 caps which go on top of the columns on the front door were missing. The original outlines are still on the door. (left picture).  I was lucky enough to obtain pictures from an identical clock from Scott Cottone who had an identical clock in his recent auction. (right picture).   I noticed that the molding above the door on my clock had the flat ledge on top, and the ogee curve on the bottom. There is no evidence of this piece ever being removed and the original nails are still in the bottom attaching it to the piece that fits under the dial. The picture from Scotts auction clock shows this ledge piece with the flat on the bottom and the ogee curve on the top.  I can't locate a picture from any of the books, or original catalog reprints, of this clock showing the original look. Which one is correct ?
Also, I desperately need the hardware for this clock. 2 door hinges, 2 bezel hinges, door lock and hands.  If anyone has a junker, (No. 1 or No. 2) I would really appreciate the help.
